A Historic Mykonos Residence Becomes KALOGIROU’s New Luxury Destination.

In the heart of Mykonos Town’s iconic Matogiannia district, one of the island’s most important historic buildings has entered a new chapter. Venieris House, a listed heritage landmark dating back to the late 19th century and designed by Mykonian architect Dimitris Venieris, has been meticulously restored to become the new KALOGIROU Mykonos Store, which officially opened its doors on Sunday, 5 July.

Following an extensive restoration by FAIS Group, carried out with the utmost respect for the building’s history, architecture and authenticity, the landmark residence preserves its original character while being transformed into a contemporary luxury destination. The project represents a meaningful investment in safeguarding Mykonos’ architectural heritage, creating a dialogue between the island’s cultural legacy and the refined world of luxury retail.

Inspired by Cycladic architecture and Mediterranean craftsmanship, the interiors blend authentic architectural details with contemporary design interventions. The building’s distinctive façade, traditional balconies, handcrafted decorative features, ornamental ceilings and carefully selected natural materials create an environment defined by timeless elegance and understated sophistication.

Spread across three levels, the new concept store offers an immersive luxury shopping experience. It features dedicated spaces for Chloé, Brunello Cucinelli and Ferragamo, alongside a curated selection of internationally renowned luxury brands including Tod’s, Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Dolce & Gabbana, Amina Muaddi, Proenza Schouler, The Attico, Etro, Le Silla, Casadei, Paris Texas and Santoni, presenting ready-to-wear, footwear, handbags and accessories within an elegant architectural setting.

More than a retail destination, KALOGIROU Mykonos Store is conceived as a place where history, architecture, exceptional craftsmanship and international fashion coexist in harmony. It redefines the luxury shopping experience in one of the Mediterranean’s most celebrated destinations while honouring the cultural identity of Mykonos.

The opening also marks another significant milestone for KALOGIROU and FAIS Group, reaffirming their long-standing commitment to preserving architectural heritage, championing exceptional design and creating distinctive experiences for visitors from around the world.
